		<description><![CDATA[I&#039;ve definitely discovered music that way too, and am a huge exponent of digital, but I think we still need curators; people to steer us through the bewildering global choice that digital opens up - I&#039;m not the only one that thinks either, as a recent post on the On The Record blog flagged &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.irishtimes.com/blogs/ontherecord/2011/11/18/why-twitter-is-not-one-of-the-go-to-places-for-discovering-new-music/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;up here&gt; &lt;/a&gt;

Of course that steer can be a dj, a blogger or a music journalist but what is the point of radio exactly if it doesn&#039;t help us discover new things? It&#039;s not just background noise and a sea of advertising, it&#039;s a method of communication no?
